Alicia was the queen of the Olympic distance non-drafting events winning 17 events in 2013 and 2014 and routinely riding sub 60 minutes for 40 km. In 2015, she took that domination to the IRONMAN 70.3 distance and is a multiple IRONMAN 70.3 Champion with a 5th place finish at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships as the top American. After her one-week training camp in Hawaii, she got her first taste of her future. She plans to compete in IRONMAN distance events in 2016. She will bring her Olympic and 70.3 speed into IRONMAN and dominate once again. Alicia just finished 4th at the Island House Invitational Triathlon which was a 3-day stage event. World champion Gwen Jorgensen won the event, Xterra World Champion Flora Duffy was 2nd and Olympic silver medalist Lisa Norden finished 3rd. Needless to say, Alicia had a phenomenal race.
