Tough is one word to explain Advisory Staff member Jimi Young. He has completed 20 full Ironman events, with completing as many as 4 per year. Competing multiple times at the Ironman World Championship is his favorite accomplishment and returning to Kona is what he strives for. Jimi has Personal Records of under 10 hours for Ironman as well as sub 3 hours for open marathon. Short course, long course or ultra……all distances are welcome.
“I just love to train, race and share the sport of triathlon with others”, that is his motto. His love for triathlon is coupled with a passion for travel. Jimi states, “I believe in Ogio for all of my travel and racing needs. We race and vacation world-wide. With a full schedule and no room for error, I need bags I can count on to handle the high mileage.”

Jimi is a Police Officer and a multisport coach. He will move to full time racing and coaching in less than 5 years.
